Short Essay on Rabbit in English: Rabbit is a playful animal that likes to live in a herd. There are many species of rabbits found on earth. Rabbits have two big ears and two round eyes. Rabbits are found in white, black, gray and brown colours. There are about 28 teeth in their mouth. In which two teeth of the upper jaw are big which are used in gnawing food.

Rabbit teeth continue to grow throughout their life span. Rabbits do not have hair at birth. When a rabbit’s hair comes out, it is very soft. Rabbits have four legs so that they can make long jumps. It also has a short tail. The life span of a rabbit is from 8 to 10 years.

A female rabbit can give birth to 7 to 9 young at a time. The body of a rabbit is very flexible and it remains in the ground by making a burrow. Their nails are very sharp which help in making bills. Rabbits are herbivores and like to have vegetables, fruits, leaves, shrubs and carrots in their diet.

Rabbit is a small animal and is very beautiful, attractive and adorable in appearance, so it is a favorite animal of children. A rabbit looks like a cat. The rabbit has a short graceful tail and has four legs which help it to make long jumps. The rabbit has two big ears, which are about 10 cm in length. Due to this, rabbits are able to hear very low sounds easily.
